Treated for superior UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to damage from the sun. Made with bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread has increased lubrication for protection during the sewing process.
Since monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, a finer thread size can be used if required. The single ply is less vulnerable to knot and ravel during sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and works well for zigzag sewing. The oval profile reduces the thread's exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.
Recommended uses include sports equipment, filtration, marine and outdoor products, quilting, embroidery, light boat tops, and light sails.
