The shade sail fabric is knitted together with a “Raschel Knit” lock stitch to ensure that the fabric does not tear or fray if cut or pierced. Polytex is designed for outdoor shade structures and architectural shade sails, providing over 95% UV protection. Its high strength-to-weight ratio, mildew resistance, and fire rating make it the ideal choice for small-scale projects where sun protection is desired, like patio shade sails and canopies. The lightweight shade cloth is lead and phthalate free. Use Polytex in Aquamarine for a fresh, functional addition.
