The shade sail fabric is knitted together in a "Raschel Knit" lock stitch to assure that the fabric does not split or fray if pierced or cut. Polytex is designed for architectural shade sails and outdoor shade structures, supplying over 95% UV defence. Its high strength-to-weight ratio, mildew resistance, and fire rating make it the ideal choice for small-scale projects where sun protection is needed, like canopies and patio shade sails.
