Made of aluminum alloy 6063-T5 with a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used with the Steel Stitch System. Generally used in spans up to 34" that are laterally supported against fabric tension at a maximum of 30".
Steel Stitch provides versatile design in the installation of awnings, canopies, and back-lit signs. The frame system incorporates the "staple-in" technique of affixing fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC finishing trim, in a selection of more than 30 colours, is then driven into the channel to conceal the staples. By using divider strips to join sections and the patented FlashStrip (which forms a leak-proof seal against building surfaces), the final result is an attractive, smooth, and wrinkle-free awning.
