Treated for superior UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to damage from the sun. Made of bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread has increased lubrication to protect it during the sewing process.
Since monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, a finer thread size can be used if required. The single ply is less prone to raveling and knotting during sewing. Polymatic may be used on either side of a double-needle machine and is suited for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile decreases the thread's direct exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.
Recommended uses include marine and outdoor fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, embroidery, filtration, quilting, and sports equipment.
