Coats Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted), durable, continuous filament polyester thread. It provides 20-33% higher continued strength than typical lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize shrinkage or stretching. The bonded finish adds extra strength, keeps the ply from untwisting, and reduces fraying at the needle's eye. This means greater seam quality and less struggle with mending broken thread or rethreading. The high-tenacity sewing thread is designed for heavy-duty fabrication and demanding applications.

Main uses include marine and outdoor applications, leather goods, luggage, furniture, seat trims, and footwear. Ultra Dee polyester thread is supplied in many attractive colour options, including Medium Titanium. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
