YKK VISLON UV #8 zippers are created specifically for marine environments. All unit and slider materials are scientifically developed to defend against damage from weathering and sunlight. The teeth are molded from heavy-duty acetal plastic. The acetal polymer is bound to a strong polyester tape and cord, which ensure the sliders remain on the track. The acetal resin minimizes the effect of UV radiation, significantly increasing the zipper's life.
For easy use, the VISLON zipper is corrosion resistant and self-lubricating. It withstands mud, sand, and other natural elements. Because the colour is incorporated into the molding step, the finish does not peel, chip, or rub off. Use the zipper for marine projects, industrial curtains, tents, bags, enclosures, upholstery, and more.
