Tenara HTR Heavy sewing thread is made of the same material as other Tenara threads, but features a unique 3-ply bonded construction that offers several advantages:- An "improved circular cross-section" that provides a smoother and more uniform appearance.
- An increased twist level, which should reduce breaks.
- Excellent sewability.
- Softer construction.
In addition, because of the new construction the thread is smoother on the tube, which allows for up to 15% more seam length for the same tube price as the previous HTR-style thread. The strength of the thread remains the same. This item is a replacement for Gore Tenara TR Thread #M1000HTR.
