Carbiepoles® Coverplate for Mounting Base for 2" Poles Stainless Steel

The Carbiepoles 316 stainless steel coverplate is an accessory to separating mounting base #205436, used to install 2" adjustable carbon fiber shade poles. The coverplate protects the base plate when the poles are not in use, while also giving it an attractive, polished finish. To install, simply press the button on the base and slide the coverplate until you hear the click. To remove, press the button and slide the coverplate out.

Product Notes:

• When installing, be careful not to overtighten the clamp.
• Using the pad eye on the top of the pole, you can install a strap and attach it to a cleat on the boat. This creates equal tension on both sides of the pole, so the pole does not flex while the boat is running.
• If attaching pad eyes, they must be riveted on (using screws by themselves may weaken the integrity of the pole and may not be strong enough for a permanent solution).
• To clean, simply rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
• 1.5” Carbiepoles are recommended for projects sized <50 square feet. For larger projects or heavier fabrics, consider 2” Carbiepoles.

Poles should be taken down during inclement weather to avoid damage.
